Due to circumstances beyond the control of the Gathering Committee, the venue's for the Friday night sessions have been relocated as follows

Competitions

• The main information desk during the competitions will be in the Playhouse.

• You can enter competitions on the day of the Gathering.   However, to help us with the administration of the competitions, please try to submit your entry beforehand, either by post or email to the Gathering Secretary, Mrs Lorna McKenzie.

• The clog competitions. Competitors to meet at 1pm competitions to  start at 1.30 pm in the Northumberland Hall.

• The poetry competition starts at 1.00 pm in  Alnwick Town Hall, Market Place, Alnwick followed by the singing competition.

• The other competition strands start at 1.00 pm in the Playhouse.

• Tickets are for entry to the competition venues. There is no additional fee for competition entrants.

• Spectators and competitors                  £2 (£1)

• Family ticket for competitions                £5

Tickets for concerts  can be obtained from the Alnwick Playhouse box office ( 01 665 - 510 785).  

Entry to competitions and workshops is by payment at the door, although workshop places can be booked by ringing the Gathering Office (01 665 - 712 044).

The Dance in the Northumberland Hall is 'pay at the door' Production of a Concert Ticket will entitle the holder to a £1 discount entry fee

SESSIONS

There will be informal sessions on Friday evening and on Saturday during the day. The Friday evening musicians session will take place in the RAFA Club Lisburn Street Alnwick and possibly some other venues. There will be a singers’ session on Friday evening at 8.00pm The Oddfellows Arms Narrowgate Alnwick. An F pitch session is to take place after the competitions. Venue to be  arranged
